Celebrity Big Brother 2014 set to be the highest rated since Channel 5 renewed the show

Since Big Brother was axed by Channel 4 back in 2010, it was inevitable that the viewing figures would have dropped some-what during the move to Channel 5. The show which started back in 2000 had seen viewing figures drop dramatically from its glory days leading to channel 4 throwing the axe on the Juggernaut reality TV series. Celebrity Big Brother 13 (2014) has seen a rise in the ratings, even pushing the ratings over the 3million mark, something channel 4 even struggled to do with its "Ultimate" version of the series. This year has been touted the most controversial and raunchiest series since the big brother hay day (specifically 2004/5) which could be the reason why more and more viewers are tuning in. This week, Jim, Sam & Liz all face the chop.
